Happy New Year everyone <3

I need a pattern suggestion for mens board shorts. Something for a male in his 20's-30's so thereby hip, trendy, stylish. They ideally would hang down to the knees, somewhat of the "surfer styled" look. I can do it with or without pockets, either way works fine for me. I would prefer something with a drawstring and I will be adding velcro inside for additional closure.

This style is what I'm looking to accomplish.

Suggestions are welcome, I've been having one heck of a time finding a pattern for this project. Your help is appreciated. <3

So does anyone have an rp journal for one or more characters? I thought I remembered something about one awhile back but my search through LoW-fu is severely limited by the use of a blackberry at this point in time.

I've been thinking on making a character blog for a few of my characters but before I do, I wanna know if this is a crazy idea or not.

P101, wtf is going on with my kid?

She's nearly 6 months old. ( I am wordy, sorry. She seems to be in pain or something in her sleep, and I wonder if I am missing something. )

Am I missing anything? Is this normal? It would seem normal to me if she was hungry, or if there were some definable thing she wanted. But there doesn't seem to be. All we can do is either bounce her around for half an hour, or hold her while she cries.

Sorry, I know I am like ALWAYS HERE with one thing or another. But she's such a mystery to me, and I wish I could figure her out.

Hey, it's New Year's Eve, and one of my babies is running a fever. We can't find our baby thermometer anywhere, and so we've been using an older adult thermometer meant to go in the mouth, underneath her arm. The underarm reading is 101.5. My question is, should I add anything to this number? Is her temp most likely closer to 103 and I should call a dr? She's not showing any other symptoms other than being just a tiny bit more sensitive and crabby than usual. Also, her appetite is a bit less. She's 16 months old.

♥ Your cupcake history: I've always enjoyed baking, but it's only been in the last 2 years that I've really gotten into it, and cupcakes in particular. I'm a bit anal about my cupcakes, and a bit of a perfectionist, especially with the icing, so I tend to bake as a solitary thing, and don't like when people try to help me, LoL!
♥ Why you like cupcakes: I'm a sweet addict, and I love the combination of cake and frosting. I work as a nanny, so it's a great project you can do with kids (although I will never eat anything a kid makes...) I'm well known for my cupcakes in my circle of friends, and if I'm organising a party, everyone expects there to be cupcakes there!
♥ Anything to share?: Here are some pictures of things I have made. I'm limited to things that I have pictures of on my facebook, as I am overseas!



I am *famous* for my Raspberry Swirled Vanilla cupcakes with White Chocolate frosting. The secret is that they actually come out of a box, and I haven't been able to find anything that replicated the frosting so well!

♥ Your cupcake history: I remember my mother making cupcakes when I was a child. They were always my favourite things because it was like having my own little cake that I didn't have to share. And many times she'd let me decorate it.
♥ Why you like cupcakes: They're very versatile. And they're not as childish as they were when I was little. You can do so much with them, and can make it look classy as well.

Who spent the New Year on WoW? What did you do to celebrate? Did anyone else try to get in one last raid of 2009?

There was this book i read with this lady who would help parents with their kids who misbehaved.

I think it was a series or at least it was more than one book with lot's of different stories.

I remember a couple of stries...

One with this boy who wouldn't eat much and the lady gave his mother a set of plates. every day his mom would give him a plate of food on a plate and each day she gave him a smaller plate (and fork, spoon, knife, and cup too) eventually the boy grew so weak from not eating that his mother gave him a full plate of food normal size and he ate it all, curing him of his lack of appetite.

Another story was of a girl who wouldn't take a bath.
the lady gave her mom a packet of seeds and when the girl got so dirty her mother planted seeds on her but allowed her to not bathe if she chose. Ebventually she grew into a garden and agreed to take a bath.

Can any one help me out?
